Family Therapy of Albuquerque has outgrown its name! In order to better serve our purposes and more effectively provide counseling services outside the Albuquerque area, we have changed our name to “Formation Counseling Services.”
The name “Formation Counseling Services” celebrates the highest purpose of our Christian counseling specialty, which is to assist the Spirit-driven process that forms Christ in people’s lives. Spiritual formation is the goal of our Christian counseling services.
It also celebrates the fact that our services to the general population go beyond solving problems and reducing symptoms to assisting in the formation of fulfilling lives.
And, due to the fact that we have expanded our services beyond the Albuquerque area, we are excited to adopt a name that is not tied to a specific community.
We are excited about the remarkable possibilities created by our new name, and we look forward to pursuing those possibilities with purpose and passion.
